Taken By Surprise

Another chance was given to him. He took me by surprise by agreeing to all the things that I wrote down and without much hesitation, he agreed to what I wrote and to do what I want. I was really taken aback.

He was willing to go to see a marriage counsellor with me to make things work, he promised he will try his best not to blow his temper at me and talk to me instead of being so rude to me and show me with respect; he promised that he will be there for me should I one day something happened to me. But most of all, he said that he will distant himself from the friendship with bff. I thought he will put up a fight with me on this particular issue but to my surprise, he didn't.

He said he will try his utmost best. He said he understood what I had always been trying to tell him: Friends come and go in your lives and they can't be there for you forever. Only your loved ones and family will always be there for you no matter what happens to you.

I hope he will keep his promise on what I've told him.

I hope I didn't make thr wrong decision. Goldfish had said enough. "Just don't regret."

I really don't know. His sincerity touched me, hence the forgivenss. Is this the right way?
